The location and grounds are absolutely exceptional. Host went out of his way, as there was an error in the booking and he found us a place to stay for one night and then gave us a free upgrade to their amazing large villa. The grounds where full of mature trees and the gardens are just amazing, was so peaceful and spacious, myself and family have travelled extensively in Costa Rica and this has become one of our favourite places and will be coming back for sure and have been raving and recommending it to all of my friends and clients.

Property and home was well organized and everything was well staged for your convenience. Great view and everything was designed like a boutique open air cabina in the jungle with an ocean view.

The property manager was excellent. She was very prompt in responding to booking and when we arrived. She checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was good! She was great. Everything was great! The property has a huge screened in porch where we hung out and it was good. It has a long table and chairs and a round table and chairs.

The hosts Gilly and Pierre were terrific providing thoughtful treats in the kitchen as well as a wealth of information about the area. The pool and patio were an oasis from the heat while also providing a wildlife viewing platform for monkeys, sloths, birds and butterflies. Just a perfect place to relax and re-energize at the midpoint of our trip.

Very comfy. Good AC and kitchen. Location was perfect. Walkable to surf, supermarkets, and sodas. Owners very kind. Let us use tubes for the river and a surfboard while mine was being repaired.

This place had a very communal vibe. I think the owner and the manager drive that forward. The communal kitchen is where everyone congregates. Was a huge communal fish dinner. Everyone brings something. I was new, I brought beer. Also brought everyone ice cream the next day. I am a new surfer and the other guests helped me figure out the best surfing times and location (an easier spot, still in the main surf zone). I came alone, wanted to meet friends, and did just that. Very, very close to the main surf area. I highly recommend this place.
