First of all our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. I've never been to Bali but after visiting I feel as if I had! The gardens are simply wonderful, the tasteful positioning of Balinese furniture and artefacts enhances the effect. Our living and bedroom were superb. Beautiful jarrah wood flooring, huge very comfortable four poster bed. Massive smart TV. Well designed, fully equipped kitchen. Also we had a Spa in it's own area, washing machine and dryer and ironing facilities. There was also 2 separate outside covered areas with table seating and lounging opportunities! The shower was excellent.

Perfect location for walking access to Middleton beach and easy access via car to everywhere. Comfortable. Had all amenities we needed. Loved the gas fire on the colder nights. Loved sitting outside in the little garden. Very helpful too when we locked the keys in the property.

Location fabulous, outlook over park very peaceful and beach in walking distance a huge bonus. Town was only a 5 minute drive away. Bed comfy, light and warm home with balcony a welcome extra. Kitchen well stocked. Bottle of wine on arrival was very thoughtful, thankyou. In addition, Albany itself is a beautiful town and the area is stunning for walking, beaching and just about anything. I walked every day that I stayed there and never did the same walk twice. I absolutely love the area and it is well worth staying at least a week or more!! The clear blue water, white crystal beaches and granite boulders everywhere as well as the abundant wildflowers just create an incredibly picturesque and peaceful place of beauty and calm with very few other souls sharing the wonder on any given day. Suggestions: Conspicuous Cliffs walk near Walpole + super swim at the end, Green Pools at Denmark, Bald Rock walk; Walk to Small beach from the Visitor Centre rather than driving straight there; Salmon Holes; Mt Clarence and Mt Melville (walk from the bottom through the bush rather than drive up) Porongurups - 2 lovely walks; The Sterling Ranges - a variety of walks; Windfarm walk (part of the Bibbulmun track); Middleton Beach headland walk which is also the parkrun path; Muttonbird Island swim spot and short walk; Point Possession; Cosy Corner walk and many more. ENJOY this incredible and unspoilt part of Australia!
