Vila Luz offers self-contained accommodation overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from a cliff among landscaped gardens. The pictures don't do this hotel justice. The balcony is huge and the view is spectacular - because it's quiet, you can only hear the wind, the sea, and the birds. Absolutely superb. The room was a studio essentially, had a stovetop, fridge, cutlery, microwave, and even a wine bottle opener. Very well equipped. The hotel itself is very well looked after, lots of trees and plants give it a luxuriant vibe that really makes a difference. The staff is great as well - they have a buffet breakfast but if you want some hot breakfast like bacon and eggs, they do that for you too. All with a smile on their face. Really good experience.

Faro Guest Apartments er staðsett í miðbæ Faro, 25 km frá Vilamoura-smábátahöfninni og 28 km frá eyjunni Tavira. Gististaðurinn er með borgarútsýni. I found the place quite spacious, everything in the appartment is new, the host provided coffee, fruits and water, very nice to have once you arrive. I liked the big balcony, my room had the view on the back side. Just note that both doors can be opened and make sure to close both when is windy. They are even providing cleaning service during the stay, not so usual for appartments. There is an elevator in the building, very helpful when you need to bringing luggages up or down. The building is in a quiet area. Bus station is less than 10 min walking distance.
