Location close to the main square. Great if you are in need of an apartment. It was quiet and I only saw some other guests when I went, depending on what you need, this can be great.

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful - we could check in to our room really early after arriving with the night bus from Puno and also in the middle of the night after our Salkantay Trekking - furthermore we could even leave our bags there for free and they explained to us how to get to the trail head with public transport. They also own a laundry place where you can get your clothes washed for a reasonable price and even offer an express service. The room was clean with warm blankets, everything as described. Bonus points for the cute cats and especially the cutest of all dogs :D

Fantastic location only about a 6 minute walk to Plaza de Armas. Excellent value for money. Elizabet and her husband are extremely kind and helpful people who do everything they can to make you feel at home. The room and bathroom are spotless with shampoo and soap provided and restocked everyday. Tea and coca leaves are provided for guests throughout the day Breakfast is very tasty, especially the fresh bread. We actually came back twice more between trips to sacred valley and the Inca trail and they welcomed us home like we were family. There are great laundry facilities, cafes and restaurants within 2 minutes of the property. I would 100% recommend Casona Tordo to anyone visiting Cusco.

Katari Apart Hotel at Qorikancha features accommodation within 700 metres of the centre of Cusco, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a fridge and a minibar. It was new and very clean. Breakfast was served in the room before we left for Machu Picchu which we thought was a lovely touch. Shower was amazing. if travelling with Inca rail. main office right next door
