Situated in Ella and only 5.2 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Ella Country House features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The view was just stunning. We really enjoyed the breakfast with the mountain view. We saw some interesting birds, chipmunks and monkeys too. The hosts are welcoming and even though we had an incident in our room with some flying bugs (it was during the rain season), the staff helped us eliminate the issue in 10mins. It's really close to the center and we would've liked to stay another night but they were fully booked. The host let us keep our bags all day and gave us tea while we waited for the rain to calm down before we moved on to the next hotel.

We were welcomed by a smiling and friendly family. They made dinner for us. They were there for us at any moment if we needed them. Washed our clothes and packed food for the trip. The accommodation and the view are perfect. Huge recommendation!

If you’re trying to get away from the noise/touristy part of this city, 49 Ella is a dream. I almost didn’t want to write this because I know how special this property is but incredible WiFi, great AC, overlooking the mountains, you can see the train over the hills. The birds chirp in the morning and the sunrises are special. I don’t have words for how amazing this place is. A little outside of town, but less than $2 US to get into town. Worth it.

I loved everything, the owner and his family are stars, they make everything possible to make you feel like home. It was just amazing, super clean, super friendly. just perfect. It exceeded my expectations. You are in the middle of a tea plantation WOW!!!, sooo quiet and still so close to the train station. An absolute gem. This place is highly recommended :-) This is the place to stay in Ella :-)

Beautiful secluded location away from the town / main tourism hub. But a lovely 20-30 minute walk from the hub (only recommended in day light hours, can get tuk tuk if needed). Amazing food! Ice Age Cottage is situated in Ella, 45 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, 46 km from Horton Plains National Park, and 3 km from Ella Railway Station. We had a wonderful stay. The room is very spacious and clean. Great value for money. The owner Nirmala is a friendly host he attended to all our requirements. The home cooked Srilankan breakfast was fabulous. Overall lovely experience and highly recommend the property

Offering garden views, The Creek Villa ella is an accommodation set in Ella, 49 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden and 1.2 km from Ella Spice Garden. Susan was really welcoming and friendly. He shared good tips on where to eat and get laundry done, became our tuk tuk driver while we were in Ella and offered a lovely breakfast service for a small extra charge. The view is so gorgeous and he helped carry our backpacks up to the room.
