Beautiful secluded location away from the town / main tourism hub. But a lovely 20-30 minute walk from the hub (only recommended in day light hours, can get tuk tuk if needed). Amazing food! Friendly and kind hosts :)

Can't recommend it enough! The room is cozy, the balcony is lovely and has AMAZING views! Location was perfect for us - its situated a bit outside of town and surrounded by beautiful nature, but you can easily walk or tuk tuk to town. Very idyllic and relaxing! But most of all, the hosts are so kind and make you feel so welcome and at home! The food is DELICIOUS (ask for dinner)! They also arranged an amazing tuk tuk tour for us!! We were so sad to leave and hope to come again one day!! Many thanks for your hospitality!! 💕

Ice Age Cottage ligger i Ella, 45 km fra Hakgala Botaniske Have, 46 km fra Horton Plains Nationalpark og 3 km fra Ella Station. The host managing the accomodation was lovely and attentive and knowledgeable with recommendations.Area was very calm beautiful view and great to have breakfast in the balcony with a great view in full privacy.

Susan was really welcoming and friendly. He shared good tips on where to eat and get laundry done, became our tuk tuk driver while we were in Ella and offered a lovely breakfast service for a small extra charge. The view is so gorgeous and he helped carry our backpacks up to the room.
