It was quiet and friendly. The view was exceptional! Our room had a private terrace with table and chairs and hammock. There was a beautiful honeysuckle vine that smelled so good, bees swarming it that had no interest in us. Our host Paolo met us at the ferry to guide us up the winding roads to the property at the top of the mountain in Pianoconte.

Breakfast was included, very tasty and hearty (eggs, cheese, ham, croissants, sweets and coffee). And the view of Lipari by the pool is just wow!

Set on Lipari, in the Canneto district, Stella del Mattino is just a few steps from the white beaches and 4 km from the port. Super friendly owners that picked us up from the ferry. Close to a super nice beach.

We told our friends we were staying at our own villa with the Mediterranean outside our windows! Very welcoming and friendly host which made us feel like home from the beginning, easy & flexible check-in, very pleasant, spacious and clean flats with a nice roof top terrace, well located ear the port, easily accessible, very good value for money, highly recommended- would return any time!
