Our apartment on their farm was a haven for our stay near Borgarnes. Views of the surrounding fields were great, and such a nice change from city hotels. The apartment had everything we needed, including a filter coffee maker. The weather turned overnight, and roads were closed the next morning. Fjola kindly informed us of this and offered that we could stay longer, which was very generous.

All amenities were available. Check in instructions were clear. The host was very responsive whenever we reached out for any assistance. Although we did not check in early but they accommodated our request when we raised one. Kirkjufell's view from one of the rooms is just out of this world! Totally recommended. We absolutely loved it! The apartment was not only cozy and clean but also well-designed, mixing old & new. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are thoughtful little touches such as wine/beer to buy. It was not just a stay, however, it was an experience. The place has lots of history and the personal encounter with our host Gísli made our stay all the more special. He shared plenty of interesting knowledge about the history of the place, things to do in the area, etc. Couldn't have wished for a better experience! Thank you, Gísli!
