We had a tastefully furnished flat which was very cosy on rainy days and it had a small kitchen. The house is close to Ludlow centre and in walkable distance to all its sights and amenities. There is a cafe at ground floor with a nice rear garden terrace.

A great little place with everything we needed for a few days stay. Modern, bright and comfortable with good sized sleeping, lounge areas and bathroom: Well equipped and with a lovely little outside area. The owners have done a good job in the setup and have parking on the drive too.

We stayed in the orangery - stylish and an absolutely splendid location! Very light, very private, and a well equiped-kitchen. Very dog-friendly. Definitely to be recommended, we would stay here again.

Trevor and Gleice were very friendly and approachable. We were able to get a few requested items such as locally produced meat and charcoal during our stay, and also breakfast, which was available made by the host or ingredients could be provided. The Hobbit house is beautiful and very unique and homely compared to other similar properties. Pictures don't do it justice! It had a lovely cosy feel and wonderful view of fields and hills. We visited to relax, and that's exactly what we did! Views of the night sky were breathtaking- and in the night you might get to hear tawny owls and pheasants. It was very easy to imagine yourself having retreated totally from the busy world, but help from the hosts was there if you needed it, and small town Clun is accessible by car for any necessities. The toilet was a composting toilet and very easy to get used to, and a handy shower too. Cooking facilities included a single hob and wood burning stove inside, and the balcony housed a barbecue and a burner stove as well. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway, it would be ideal for anyone wanting to reset, and also writers and artists.
