The apartment is located on the slope of a hill, giving you a gorgeous view on Lons-le-Saunier from the large balcony at the back of the apartment. Each day we made a trip (by car) to an interesting place in the area, such as: Les Planches-près-Arbois, Le Lac de Chalain, La Vallée du Hérisson, ...

Don't bring heavy or bulky luggage as you will climb 3 levels up in a narrow spiral staircase, but it's worth it.
