The location is great - close to the supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants as well as to the hiking paths and harbour (possible to cross Isefjord on a ferry and explore the opposite side of the island). Really good location and proximity to the public transport - train (to Hillerød, Copenhagen and others), buses and ferries. The apartment is really spacious, clean, and flooded with the sun in the daytime. The layout is very functional and thoughtfully designed, with high-quality materials and very well cared of. It is obvious from first glance that the owners really care about their property and guests. Lærke and Niels are super hosts, friendly, respectful, helpful and very professional. My partner and I felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay there. They also recommended us an alternative cycling route to get to our next destination which turned out to be very beautiful and picturesque and made our experience even better. I can only recommend! The way she has organized and decorated the large flat we’ve rented makes it feel like a cosy nest for a family. Then: if you opt for a home-madr breakfast, Her freshly baked bread and marmelade are delicious. And she cares about Nature and her guests recycling their waste, makes it easy for them to do so, so her entire B&B makes a lot of sense to me. I wish her continued success, as it shows that she has put her heart into Nordgården!

The hostess were welcoming and really nice. Big plus for the big friendly cat and that the kids could use the trampoline in the garden.
