Our stay in Bentub home was one of our favourite things from santo antao island! The owner is very nice and welcoming, the dinners in the house are excellent and the food is adapted for all types of guests (we are all vegan). The location is ideal and every morning we took the colectivos to reach the different treks. We loved it so much we stayed for one day more than planned. Definitely the most comfortable and delicious stay we had in Cape verde!!! Fully fully recommended!!!!

Vannimar Lounge is a self-catering accommodation located in Porto Novo. Accommodation will provide you with a balcony. There is a kitchen with an oven and a refrigerator. Spacious and light apartment on the second floor, with a nice balcony with views over both the sea and the mountains. The couch is comfortable and the fly/mosquito nets make it possible to have all windows open, so a nice breeze comes in. The kitchen is well equipped, but because of the proximity of some nice restaurants, we didn't use it a lot.

Great hosts, very kind and helpful with a spontaneous medical situation. Very nice breakfast and dinner (homegrown veg/fruits and freshly caught fish), tasty coffee. Relaxed evenings in the hotel bar downstairs with locals and live music.

A recently renovated apartment, Casa Au Bonheur des Randonneurs offers accommodation in Ponta do Sol. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free WiFi. The appt is really huge - 3 bedrooms, spacious dining room, kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tableware and cookware. However, the shops in Ponta do Sol are really tiny, so if you're travelling by car I'd suggest to do your grocery shopping in bigger villages (e.g. we've found a relatively big shop in Ribeira Grande) or even before departing Mindelo, especially if you want to purchase alcohol. Anyway, if you don't want to cook yourself, there are several cafes/restaurants nearby, but I suggest to book the place for dinner in advance, as the best places are fully booked. Good wi-fi, plenty of parking place on the street nearby, key is left in the locker box, so you don't have to worry about time of arrival. The host is very sweet and helpful - she has sent all the precise instructions on whatsapp in advance and it was very easy to contact her anytime.
