Featuring a garden and views of sea, A.M.A Appartament is a recently renovated apartment located in Calheta Do Maio, less than 1 km from Praia de Ponta Preta. The appartement was newly renovated and super-equiped; there was everything from can-oppener to washing machine ... everything was spotlessly clean. It is roomy, light, and we enjoyed the terrace at the front with seaview. Shops are within walking distance and you are between two beautifull beaches. But the best were our hosts: generous, helpful, humorous and a delight to stay with.

They pick you up from the boat and serve excellent meals, homemade bread and marmelade and cheese for breakfast, fresh fish dinners. They have created their own piece of heaven on a hectare of walled land. There are only two apartments, very cosy and well equipped. the dogs Jazzy and Irma are part of the family and make you feel straight at home as well. The beautiful beach is at walking distance very nearby, as is the lovely laid back village of Moro. Just walk to the beautiful centuries old baobab tree and you will find the village. From Villa maio/Porto ingles you can walk back to your apartment along the salt pans, a lovely one and a half hour walk.

A recently renovated property, Casa Carlotta Maio is set in Vila do Maio near Biche Rocha Beach, Praia de Ponta Preta. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The place is very cosy and the staff is super nice. They let me check out late. The breakfast is in a bar close to the forte Sao Jose and it is served from 8.30/9am.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Stella Maris Da Costa Apartament is situated in Calheta Do Maio. The stay at Stella Maris Da Costa was spectacular. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff who was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire duration of the the trip. Excited to return in the future.

Set within 700 metres of Praia de Ponta Preta and 1.2 km of Biche Rocha Beach, Wave Maze offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vila do Maio. Clean, nice interior decoration and good location close to the beach. The donkeys outside the hotel gave us an authentic awakening every morning.

Set in Vila do Maio and only a few steps from Biche Rocha Beach, Apartamentos Santiago - Maio offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Nice view from a little alley close to the beach. Clean, almost new and greatest showers during my travel around the islands. Would have loved to stay longer!

Located 1.2 km from Biche Rocha Beach, Guest House Maio offers accommodation with a patio, as well as barbecue facilities. Clean,safe,excellent wifi, friendly host! Totally recommended!
