We liked everything, new apartment, pool, the view from the roof, superb bed, nice smelling shower gel, quiet neiborhood, 10 out of 10!

At 3 km (9600 ft) Elevation, the night was chilly and the morning was fresh. Given our experience with bland and low-variety Costa Rican cooking, Miriam's home cooking was outstanding. Set in San José, the recently renovated 935 Lodge San José offers accommodation 50 km from Poas National Park and 4 km from La Sabana Metropolitan Park. Lovely place!! We booked the 101 Apartment for 1 night and everything was great. The building is very well maintained and beautiful, check-in instructions clear (self-check-in) and we also met the host for payment who was super nice. The location is near a bigger street with lots of kiosks and restaurants. Bed is very comfortable and the hot water shower was functioning well. The 101 apartment has a small kitchen corner with a sink, wine glasses etc but no cooking area so be aware of that (other apartments might have it though). I would definitely stay here again as it was a place we felt very comfortable in in San Jose.

ARANJUEZ LOFTS Santa Ana is located in Santa Ana and offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Great experience from beginning to end. Aranjuez Lofts are a peaceful and relaxing microcosm in Santa Ana. On-site laundry and essentials were an appreciated extra.

Boasting a garden, Hospedaje Casa Monge is situated in San Gerardo de Dota, within 17 km of Cerro de la Muerte. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the apartment free of charge. Perfect tiny house in a cute nature place. The river is closed. You can park your car. It is cold during night but you have everything you need (blankets). Very clean, hot shower and the kitchen is well equiped. We saw a quetzal really early in the morning !

BEE Suites Santa Ana is situated in Santa Ana and has a pool with a view and garden views. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. This place has the perfect balance between a very relaxing stay, with a near river sound and nature view, while enjoying the advantages of a very strategic location near convenience stores, shopping malls and night live... very cozy and relaxing, nice equipped kitchen and nice details like delicious shampoo, shower gel and other goodies like that, totally worth it, would recommend and repeat

Situated in San José, 46 km from Poas National Park and less than 1 km from Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica, SkyGarden Nunciatura Luxury Apartment offers a fitness centre and air conditioning. Well there was a bit of a sanfu with the keys. The two individuals at the front desk couldn't find the keys the host left for me because they couldn't find my name. After some continual effort to provide more info, they found it. However, the building was clean, the apartment was very clean, both TVs worked, the shower was nice, albeit a little tight, but adequate. The water only warmed up to a certain temperature, maybe it could have been controlled from under the sink, but I didn't mess with it. The bed was comfy enough, plenty of space for my clothes and things. Everything you needed was in the kitchen. The Indian Restaurant downstairs had good food, but wayyyyy overpriced. The Pots and pans restaurant was much more reasonable. There are several cafes/coffee shops/restaurants within walking distance. But you will definitely transportation to get to just about anywhere else. BTW: if you are there during event time at the nearby stadium be prepared for crowds just about everywhere. The rooftop pool, pool table, views, BBQ, hot tub, were nice with all the spaces to hang out and chill if you want.
