Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

The layout of the property meant that each cabin retained its privacy. The ‘rules’ that stipulated you had to be quiet at certain times. Although the howler monkeys didn’t pay attention to this - which was a bonus! The swimming pool was very welcome. The washing machine was very useful. The location was quiet but close to playa Negro and easy walking distance to town and the national park.

The location was absolutely perfect. The ocean is right there in front of you with a beautiful beach 2 min walk. Cahuita is a 5 min walk tops and it's just away enough that you're not bothered. But the part was the owners. Lovely couple ready to greet you at every chance. And if you need it they'll get it for you. I highly recommend this place for a nice chill Caribbean stay.

Selva Madre was exceptional, the host is a beautiful person, and the site is exceptional. Beautiful! We loved it so much that we came back a few days later.

The room was very spacious, the kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to cook almost anything that we wanted. The apartment was very clean and the room didnt feel as hot as other places in the Caribbean.

Cahuita is small and the property is close to everything. The El Rincon del Amor restaurant is spectacular. The kitchenette had almost everything I needed for a month long stay. There are two grocery stores nearby. The better of the two is a 5 minute walk. The National Park is one block away; the beach is one block away. The Mepe terminal is a two minute walk away. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. On the other hand, they leave you alone to do your own thing.
