There is a vintage stereo with a great selection of vinyl records to play: the serendipity of this is how we were introduced to Odezenne, a band from Bordeaux, whose style is an eclectic cross between chanson and rap. There are parking restrictions on the nearby street but it's free for up to three hours if you display a 'blue disc' in the windscreen to show the time the car is parked. We didn't have a disc but our host very helpfully loaned us one.

We forgot some of our bags when we left and Fabian was brilliant, calling to let us know and staying at the apartment so that we could return and pick them up. Would definitely recommend
