I would highly recommend. The property is in a safe and peaceful neighbourhood. The furnishings are a beautiful mixture of modern and cottage style. All of the listed facilities were available to us during our stay. Glenda and her husband were lovely hosts.

Best accomodation we have ever had in South Africa. Lovely decorated cottage, amazing terrace, fully equipped even with a washing machine. Welcoming hosts. Area is super secure, lot of green around. Had visit in the morning from the cute owner's dog and a monkey. Whenever in Pietermaritzburg, we will definitely come back!

Offering barbecue facilities and garden view, Apartment 7 On Oakleigh is situated in Pietermaritzburg, 4 km from Queen Elizabeth Park Nature Reserve and 4.7 km from KwaZulu-Natal Museum.

I stayed in Unit 4 Garden Cottage for 1 month (1 bedroom, kitchenette, living room, 1 bathroom). The kitchenette had everything I needed to cook my own meals, including a full-size refrigerator/freezer. The unit and property were spotless and immaculately maintained. Breakfast was a delicious hearty typical English breakfast. I was traveling on business and had good wi-fi reception in my unit for doing my work. Wylie Park, Woolworths, Pick N Pay, and several restaurants are all a 15 minute walk away. Most importantly, Adie and Di are fantastic and helpful hosts! This property is great for long stays and solo female travelers.
