Everything was very clean, the flats had a great bed and all necessities in the kitchen. The owners were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. The outside was also beautifully maintained and very cosy patio and pool area. We loved the style and the decor in the flats. We would love to come back and enjoy another stay at Steenkoppies.

It was so peaceful. the hostess was extremely helpful and friendly - too bad I didn't get to meet Wayne. The little outside pool thingy and the shower are awesome. the Boere people have this little old wives' tale that if you forget something there, you enjoyed the visit...well, we forgot our cheese and snoek pâté!!! I will definitely be going again, but for longer.

Clean and fresh units - I'm really sensitive to smells so I appreciated this. Easy check-in. It was really cold so an air conditioner that works came in handy. Alternative power - team no load shedding! Parking spot was right next to our unit. Very gorgeous place - it's like a mini Cape Town, wine farm house. The owner was super friendly. Braai facilities. Toiletries. Clean, fresh towels. Hot water.

It was absolutely perfect for what I needed at the time, it’s set in beautiful grounds with stunning views not far from home yet totally not reliant on eskom!! Hence we enjoyed more energy off grid than on 😊

Loved the peaceful location and especially the magnificent horses. My dogs were in doggy heaven and it was a wonderful getaway with the dogs. If you are a dog lover and want a break with the dogs, this is the place for you. The cottage was very comfortable and had a large fenced-in garden. Nearby there is a wonderful restaurant called Meat and Eat.
