Beautifully appointed, large, historic old house. Restored and looked after to be a lovely 3 bedroom house - large enough for our full family. Pets have their own walled garden, so we felt safe and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to a very nice restaurant across from the Church. Will definitively stay here again - exceptional value for money. Best accommodation so far for us in Graaff Reinet in all the years we stop over here.

It was only bed and self-catering. We enjoyed the pool, the outdoor table and chairs, the braai, and the ice machine. It was wonderful and we have told a lot of people to book at The Kothuize. The restaurant across the street was also excellent. Dit was sommer baie lekker en gerieflik.

The kitchen equipment was amazing. The television had a full bouquet of channels and was easy to operate!. The aircon was very efficient and silent. We stayed twice in 5 days, and the bed in the second apartment was a bit smaller and not as comfortable as the first one, but still very good. We really recommend the place, and it's excellent value for money. Very helpful staff as well.
