Summit View Lodge was perfect for our family of 7. We rented all 4 units and found them all to be clean, comfortable and spacious with everything in good working order. The kitchens in all 4 units were well equipped and provided us with an easy way to get an early breakfast in before our full days of activities in the area. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance to the bay, and the views from just outside the building were spectacular.

The hummingbirds and the old growth birds were fantastic! The beds and the pillows were great!

There's a basic kitchen with a gas stove where you can cook for yourself, avoid Seward's absurd restaurant prices - no exhaust hood, so you will want to cook with the windows open. There's plenty of bedding and a fridge/freezer.

We loved this place and were pleasantly surprised!!! The walking distance salmon bake restaurant and the crepe restaurant were great places for dinner and breakfast. We just loved our stay!!! Great price and the staff was so welcoming.

It’s located right on the Main Street of Seward close to the Shops, restaurants and the Sea Life Center! It is a heritage building with a unique feel and apartment layout! Owners have done a great job in updating the property while keeping a lot of charm! Bed was VERY comfortable with excellent quality linens. Water pressure was good in the shower and WiFi was quick (by AK standards)
