Breakfast not included But Beth, our host, left breakfast food at our door to our surprise. The very lovely two -bedroom apartment was large enough to easily accommodate up to six people. Cleanliness throughout was evident and the peony fragrance was just another welcoming touch. The kitchen was set up with a Keurig , beautiful china and flatware and more and more. Indeed home away from home. Your stay at Artful will be worth the cost AND Artful is extremely close to the state's capital with its magnificent gold-leaf dome. This is a fabulous rustic jewel. OH! before I forget the sunset on the property will astound you. Also John, brother to Beth, kept us guided and he didn't have to. Our stay at Artful was excellence personified. Plan that trip to Montpelier and stay at Artful Lodging and Retreats. IT WILL WOW YOU!.

Downtown Montpelier was a 3 minute drive away. The host gave us great tips on nearby swimming holes and fun places to visit.

The bathroom sink, toilet and shower were clean. Location was ok. The bedding was decent. The yard was nicely landscaped with a really cute porch.
