Met Ricardo and enjoyed a chat about the history of his beautiful & modern renovated space, once his grandparents' home. Not only were the rooms comfortable and tastefully decorated, showers were deluxe. The private outdoor patio space was a joy to spend time in. The stores & main street were a block away. Vila Nova de Milfontes is a historic Portuguese town to wander at leisure.

We really enjoyed the stay at BARCA DO SOL. Nice and warm welcome by our host Stéphane, check-in totally uncomplicated. The apartment is really nice decorated and has everything you might need. We even used the washing machine and by this, could repack our bags with fresh washed clothes. Parking lot in front of the building. You can easily walk to the town. Supermarket and bakery is nearby. (you have to visit Pao Cafe, for coffee and cake 😋)

This was a great place to stay in Milfontes. The host was very friendly and helpful. We met him at check in and check out. The apartment is very convenient to everything in town, by walking. Alentos, a restaurant about 40 m from the apartment was superb - we went there twice for dinner! The apartment has been recently completely renovated so it looks like new inside. We were able to park our car right in front of the apartment.

The studio had everything we could wish for and it was very peaceful. The location overlooking the river, with a pool, was first class and just a short walk from the town. Martin and Rita were delightful hosts and we’d happily return if they’d have us!
