We went to the reception and were shown the the property. Owners very nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had great facilities. Amazing balcony and views. Apartment was bigger than expected. Lovely location.

The view is really pretty. Also the locaction near the beach is so convinient. The apartment has three floors-one with bedrooms and toilets, second with kitchen, living room and dining space and third one with small lounging space. So good if someone wants to rest without noise. The kitchen is very well equiped. And the contact with owners was great.

The apartment is great. It's spacious, bright, each room has a million dollar ocean view and it felt very cozy, more like home and never like a hotel. Comfy beds. For 4 people its a jackpot and it doesn't get better than this in Salema. The terrace was also a thing of its own. The apartment is the last one in the building, so you get the privacy, it has a view of the town and the ocean that is equally spectacular both daytime and nighttime. Also you get a bit of mood light and fresh herbs in there. Its a great place to chill after sunset (it can get pretty chilly on the beach due to the ocean breeze). The kitchen was well equipped and it was a pleasure to be in - given that in the town of Salema you can't really get a seat in the restaurant without prior reservation, it did come in very handy. Theres a market in a building downstairs that can cover all your needs, including a very wide selection of wines and fresh bread and pastries in the morning. For large shopping you can drive to larger markets nearby, but they can get very crowded in the afternoon so expect queues. The barbecue was also awesome, especially that you can get freshly caught fish & veg in the morning as well. Theres no air conditioning, but inside the apartment it wasn't that necessary. On the terrace the heat was very intense in the midday though! Sunbathe there and you'll be crispy in no time. The beach is couple minutes away on foot with two ways of access, either downhill but over longer distance or closer, but with stairs. For activities, you can get a lot to keep you busy including dolphin watching, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. Definitely try the surfing lessons in Sagres. The town itself is very touristy but it keeps its original vibe, unlike larger cities nearby. No problems with parking near the apartment, though you'll probably want to be doing all your exploration on foot. Our host (Silvie) was super communicative, helpful and speaks great English.

very clean, spacious apartment in a great location next to the ocean, with complimentary coffee, tea and wine, which were a great surprise when arriving. the hosts were great at comms and it was easy to check in. Big bonus for us was the bakery/bistro downstairs to get breakfast before our day hike.

Everything about this property was exceptional. Amazing attention to detail. Lovely touches like wine, fruit and cheeses on our arrival. Lovely to be so close to the beach. We also booked a car parking space - very convenient and a reasonable cost.

Great property with balcony, with a view to the ocean from second and third floors, spacious unit with kitchen, free parking, walking distance to the beach, small convenient store and cafe right at the door, nice pool, fabulous staff.

We are so glad we stayed at the Docevida Apartment. There is easy access to restaurants and the wonderful beach. It was so quiet and relaxing while we were there. I loved the decor of the apartment - great colors and a chill, beachy vibe. Every restaurant we tried had excellent food - Boia, O Lourenço, and Casa Pizza. The Salema Beach Club Market has a pretty good selection of basic groceries. Salema is also a great home base for visiting other parts of the Algarve. If given the opportinity to return, we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little place to stay, particularly with pets because there is a large outdoor space. Tristan is one of the nicest people I have ever met and nothing was too much trouble. Private parking right outside the house was very welcome.
