The property was very clean, comfortable and close to a lot of facilities/restaurants. The owner was very nice, he made a reservation for us at a restaurant as we did not have a phone to call. We struggled to have a taxi take us back to the airport, but he offered us a ride. Very nice and understanding, would 100% recommend. Also, being able to do laundry is a huge plus!

Location was great with view of the Pico volcano and the neighbor island Faial. The friendliness and the willingness to help of both the hosts, Franzi and Tom, was extraordinary. The walk to the town center, the ferry terminal and the whale watch companies was a short 10 minutes. The hints of what to do in Pico and Faial island of Tom were very helpful.
