Superb location on the waterfront. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and relaxing. There are not many restaurants at Snells Beach but we did enjoy the Little and Local which was about 10 minutes walk away.

Initially, there was a mix-up with the key access password provided by Booking.com, but it was quickly resolved by contacting the phone number listed on the booking. While my special request for a bath instead of a shower wasn’t acknowledged, the property conveniently had a hose port outside for washing dive gear if needed. The kitchen is reasonably sized and well-equipped for cooking, and supermarkets are conveniently close by. The designated carpark is clearly marked with an ‘AirBNB’ sign, so be sure to drive past the first one upon entering the driveway. The property’s peaceful location away from the main road ensures a quiet stay, and the inclusion of air conditioning met my personal needs. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing for a great night’s sleep. Overall, this is the perfect accommodation option in Warkworth.

Garden Apartment was extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed. It is very private and there is a lovely view of the well kept garden. It is a very short walk to the Main Street of Matakana with all of the wonderful things it has to offer.

Clean bright great location parking spot good wifi. The place has been stocked out well with a kitchen dishwasher coffee machine etc all clean and new. The supermarket is 2 mins walk as are the couple of pubs and restaurants. Lots to do in the area

The cottage is beautifully presented - the decor and furnishings are lovely and the kitchen has everything we needed. Julia, our host, left us home made granola, baking , jams and fresh fruit, which was so thoughtful . The grounds are beautiful and it was wonderful. It was such a pleasure to be there.Everything about the place was fantastic . I couldn’t recommend it more highly .

Amazing! The apartment is beautiful, a work of art in itself. While it doesn't have a view out to the sea (except from the bathroom), there are large sliding glass doors and windows in the living room and bedrooms that open onto a lovely lawn and garden, with unspoiled forest beyond. Even the drive up is spectacular. The apartment is well designed, with ample space and very comfortable furniture and beds (with high quality linens and plenty of pillows). The kitchen was generously stocked with breakfast and snack items, as well as everything we needed to prepare a simple meal. The hosts are a lovely couple who live in the main house. They kept in touch, letting us know when they were out and how to contact them if we needed to, and providing us with a flexible checkout as they didn't have a following guest. Everything was spotlessly clean and in good repair. We appreciated the underfloor heating system that kept the entire space at a comfortable and even temperature even during the chilly early morning, and we made use of the washer and dryer (provided in the garage). Truly this was a wonderful stay in a very special place. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

They really understate this property. The Ruru apartment is enormous, fully equipped and absolutely gorgeous. She is an artist (the studio is on site) and it shows in the decor. The grounds are beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast on the lawn overlooking the sea. It is essentially at the door of gorgeous Tawharanui regional park.

Great location, a real treat. Very cosy stay and the locally roasted Matakana coffee was beautiful. Room was nicely decorated with a real homely feel.
