Mitchella Farm is beautifully situated on a hill in Hawea Flats. One is near touristy and busy Wanaka, quieter Hawea and very much in nature. The property's beautifully developed and has different B&B accommodations. We had book the Cheeky Rabbit studio, which was renovated for B&B purposes in 2019. It's tiny and lovely and superbly equipped (kitchen, toaster-oven, microwave, kettle, fridge, eating nook with a view...). The bed's fantastic, the shower, too, and the house is so well insulated that we were comfy warm even though temperatures dropped to 10 degrees celcius and we had a window open. Steve met us at arrival and showed us around the studio and the property and dog Beau came to visit several times. We had a lovely stay.

Wonderful cabin in a quiet area with an extraordinarily stunning view at the mountains! Enjoy breakfast and marvel at the scenic nature - simply gorgeous up there :D Clean kitchen with everything you need like coffee, tea, cocoa and even milk in the fridge and free popcorn. Also check in was easy, way to the cabin and the key lock were described very detailed in the mail, great! Hoping to come back when in NZ again! Thanks for the wonderful stay, Chris

We stayed here for warbirds over Wanaka. It is a perfect location on the banks of the Clutha. Amy and Todd are super friendly and generous hosts and the unit is very well- appointed.
