The view is very nice. The kitchen had everything you need and served us well. Parking right next to the door. Great place and location to stay for a star trip and exploring the area around (Utrecht, Rotterdam etc..)

Everything was OK. The apartment was very nice and close to the farm and the cheese shop (delicious homemade cheese with different flavours - high recommended the cheese with mostard and the cheese with pepper). Owner is very nice and he offered help us with proposals and, including, a piece of cheese for dinner! Nice guy. Beatiful place near to Amsterdam (kind of 30min ) so, it's an excellent option for visiting this city and enjoy the farm lifestyle. High recommended.

The location is perfect for quickly reaching Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and all the other major Dutch cities. The house is new, clean, and spacious. The host was nice, polite, and available to address any needs. I definitely recommend this place.

The Wiz Kid Ireland

I stayed here for a week and it was a complete pleasure. It’s a perfect location if you want to relax and chill out. The apartment is in the middle of the countryside surrounded by fields. There is a busy main road nearby, but I didn't take any notice of it. You'll also hear some farm animals from time to time. But as you're staying next to a working farm, it's only to be expected. I met the owner a couple of times. He was lovely. A really nice guy. There are 3 apartments and all are well sound proofed. I rarely heard anything from my neighbours. The kitchen/dining/living area is spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The WIFI was excellent and really fast. There was a big screen TV which I loved, as it had BBC channels and UK/US shows were broadcast in English with Dutch subtitles. The kitchen has a hob and a fancy microwave oven. There were cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. If you intend to cook, you’ll need to buy all the ingredients. The only things I found were salt and sugar. I think these may have been left over from the previous guests. There are a couple of supermarkets only 10 minutes away by car in Tea Aar should you need anything. The bathroom has a walk in shower with the option for a rain shower or a regular one. Which I appreciated. Again it was very clean. The bedroom was light and airy. The beds were very comfortable and to my taste. Firm, but not too much so. There’s also a patio where you can eat or chill out. Veldhuis, is roughly in the centre of The Netherlands. You can drive to The Hague in less than 40 minutes, Rotterdam in an hour and Amsterdam in 30 minutes. Schiphol airport is a short 15 minute drive. If you are taking public transport, there is a bus stop just 100 metres away. There you can get a bus that will take you to Schiphol airport in about 20 minutes and from there you can get trains to Amsterdam or anywhere else in the country. I had a super time here and would happily recommend it.
