We were met by the hostess, who gave us a brief tour of the apartment. The place itself is very clean, comfy and well appointed. Valkenburg is a lovely little town with many restaurants and the famous Christmas market in the caves. We had private parking behind the apartment too. All in all the apartment is first class.

This beautifully appointed apartment is amongst the best we’ve stayed in during 30 years of European travel. The lovely hosts were extremely helpful and we had some excellent restaurant meals based on their recommendations. The apartment’s many amenities such as a quality big screen television, dishwasher, excellent shower, comfortable bed and even an air fryer, made for a very comfortable stay. The outdoor patio facing the huge park-like garden was terrific for alfresco meals and drinks both mornings and evenings. All of this together with easy parking in the yard and an excellent location for walking to the beautiful town centre or the railway station for the short trip to Maastricht made this an exceptional place to stay.

The apartment is brand new renovated, nicely furnished, with attention to details and without clutter. Everything is done with guests comfort and/or functionality in mind. We felt home and had a great stay. The apartment is located on one of the most central streets in Valkenburg, which makes it very convenient to go out for evening walks or dinners or simply go back to the apartment anytime during the day. People could think that the apartment would be loud in such a location but surprisingly not! The windows are brand new and sound isolating, so you don’t hear anything from the street. Amazing value for money! Thank you Maud for your hospitality.
