Everything was so perfect for our stay. Exceptional kitchen facilities, good size shower with loads of quality towels. Very large bed with fresh clean bedding. There were a couple of problems that did not affect our stay, and the hosts were very responsive to our questions. The location was very rural, and peaceful, but at the same time only 5 minutes from a motorway junction, and 15 minutes to the beautiful centre of Gouda. The property has an interesting family history & very pretty gardens, with canals surrounding that enable ducks, swans, and other birds to swim right into the garden. We would stay again, and recommend to others. The hosts included very friendly Izzy & Theodore, who unfortunately did not speak English as fluently as the owners!

Beautiful place in the country, rural and in the middle between anywhere u want to go in Holland. Mona & Joe are helpful, generous & willing to help with anything Thank you!!!

Really chilled space, simple and clean, yet warm and welcoming, great bed. The balcony over the water was a perfect place to relax. Super easy just to walk over to a good restaurant/bar. And a fun alternative cafe for coffee during the day, with handmade products.

We arrived early and Linda met us to store our luggage so we could explore Gouda. She was very kind and gave us a pamphlet of attractions and a map. She helped us find our key which was actually just hanging on the wall, we didn’t see it. The house was very spacious and clean and in an excellent locations. Would highly recommend!

The location was fabulous! We were right in the middle of the old town, right next to the town square. The Saturday market and restaurants were a stone's throw away. The apartment looks newly renovated and was clean and neat. The tiny staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level was an interesting feature. The beds and pillow were nice and comfy.
