We loved staying here. The terrace is amazing. We spent many hours relaxing there. The place is clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is just far enough out of town to be quiet but not too far. The birds in the early evening in the trees are lovely. The host is very responsive to messages. The rooms are all large and the massive kitchen was fully stocked. Alba was really friendly and very helpful. I was cooking a roast the first night and the propane ran out. She was immediately on it. The place was clean and my concern about the noise from the bars on the street during this busy holiday season were really not an issue. As my elderly parents had mobility issues, it was great to have an awesome view for them.

The apartment was great! It’s a 2 bedroom downstairs in a house with a big porch. The full kitchen & bath both have hot water! There are about 8 houses on the property which is in an ideal location. Because I was a solo traveler Jan-Luc had it priced for use of only one of the bedrooms which was perfect for me. The property is surrounded by local residents which I like. There was no noise from SJDS just sounds of the surrounding neighborhood - kids playing, dogs barking, roosters & birds crowing. I actually extended my stay for almost 2 weeks. After the first week the sheets & towels were changed and the apartment was totally cleaned. Everyone was very friendly - the gardeners, the cleaning lady, the night security guard, other guests & of course, Jan-Luc. Since he lives on the property, he is very available. When I told him I had a 9 am flight out of Managua, he arranged for a taxi to pick me up at 4:30 am for a good price. The nighttime cuidador helped me meet the taxi at the front gate & the taxi driver was punctual & a safe driver.
