Even if the building is one of the oldest on this stretch of Mazatlán beaches and is in dire want of some new paint, the apartment is gorgeous. We only stayed one night on our way back to Mexico city, ideally, you would want to stay three days or more and relax.

The beach is across the street and the area is not as crowded as El Centro or Olas Altas beach. We like to walk, so the long beachfront stroll to El Centro was enjoyable. Both Mr. Alcalá, the owner, and Mary, the property manager, contacted us before, during and at the end of our stay, going out of their way to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. There is a large refrigerator with ice maker, smooth top electric cooktop, powerful microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, all of which we used.
