Spacious balcony to sit and relax. The highlight is the large roof top terrace attached to the restaurant. Friendly staff and clean premises. Overall everything is good about this place.

Sami and Aline are exceptional hosts, consistently ensuring we had everything we needed. Sami went above and beyond by driving us to the hospital and facilitating a visit to the doctor. His wealth of knowledge about local attractions enhanced our experience; be sure to tap into his recommendations. The availability of a car and scooter further added to the convenience. The apartment itself is wonderfully comfortable, but what truly captivated us was the ever-changing landscape. Our favorite pastime was spent on the terrace, soaking in the breathtaking views and observing the local wildlife. While the kitchen met our needs adequately, we particularly enjoyed indulging in plenty of brewed coffee. The inclusion of a spacious and cozy bed, reliable WiFi, unlimited hot water for showers, and provided drinking water made this place an ideal retreat for us. Without hesitation, we would gladly book again if our travels bring us back to the hill country.

Well located in the centre of Kandy, Rusty Bunk Villa is a recently renovated apartment, which provides free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive.

The apartment was large and spacious. It had a nice view from the balconies and it had many places to sit, relax and, eat. The apartment was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It had modern, new furniture throughout, and lots of outlets and lighting choices. We ordered breakfast and dinner from the host and both were delicious. They offered a good laundry service at a reasonable rate. We appreciated the provided drinking water and the super fast wifi in the living room. We enjoyed having so much space to spread out. We knew the location was far from town so we traded the walkability for the stunning views. We recommend getting Uber or Pickme on your phone for easy and cheap tuk tuk pickups.

Highly recommend staying here. The owner Sathis is really lovely and always available to help with anything you might need. The villa is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for your home away from home. The villa is located quite high up in the hills so the temperature and breeze were a huge relief after the heat and crowds in town but it is easily reached by tuk tuk. You can also walk to Kandy town in about 10-15 minutes just be warned the descent is quite steep in places and includes lots of stairs. Sathis is more than happy to arrange a tuk tuk to take you wherever you want to go if walking doesn't appeal to you. The only thing that could make it more perfect in my opinion would be a washing machine but there does appear to have been provision made for this in the bathroom so perhaps sometime in the future. But again Sathis offered to arrange laundry for us if we need it.

Boscage Homestay, appartamento a Kandy

Boscage Homestay, a property with a garden, is located in Kandy, 2 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, 5.7 km from Kandy railway station, as well as 6.4 km from Bogambara Stadium.

Boscage Homestay was perhaps our best stay during our month in Sri Lanka. Felt much like a home away from home. Owner Sanjeewa, wife Hansi and son Oshane were amazing hosts. We shared meals and drinks over great conversation. Toured the neighborhood and met the neighbors. We even bathed in the natural spring in front of the homestay and just down the hill. Boscage (def: forest) Homestay is located in an upper middle class neighborhood in the hills surrounding Kandy. The interior of the home is like a museum of Sri Lankan crafts amd artifacts. The home is split into two floors, with the host family living on the first floor and guest rooms on the second. The two guest rooms are separated by a communal kitchen, dining and seating area. All areas of the second floor allow for sweeping views of Kandy and the surrounding hills amd mountains. The property is clean, comfortable, affordable and well situated above the bustle of town. As mentioned by other guest reviews, this is a homestay and not a guesthouse. This property would best serve guests who are interested in sharing experiences with a beautiful local family. Though privacy and independence are possible, it would defeat the intent of the hosts. (To Sanjeewa, Hansi and Oshane, we will be forever grateful for your hospitality and generosity! Ayubowan!)

    Ha una terrazza panoramica molto bella, la proprietaria ce l’ha fatta sfruttare per la sera. Lei è molto accogliente, ama che i suoi clienti si sentano come a casa, ed è così di fatto! La colazione molto buona.

    La struttura è davvero molto accogliente e il proprietario, Rienzie, ti fa sentire a casa. Casa pulita con ventilatore, si stava bene! Lo consiglio vivamente!

    La location tranquilla, la casa, la gentilezza della proprietaria e l'atmosfera tranquilla. Abbiamo amato anche la gattina di casa ❤️ La camera era molto grande e pulita, la colazione fresca e buona, la vista spettacolare, casa pulita e, cosa non da poco, filtro per l'acqua disponibile in cucina 🙏 Vi aiuteranno con gli spostamenti se ne avrete bisogno, sono persone davvero oneste e gentili, consiglio caldamente di soggiornare in questa struttura, vi sentirete subito a casa.

    Appartamentino molto bello, elegante e pulito; dotato inoltre di tutti i confort necessari. La proprietaria è una signora gentilissima e super accogliente. Nonostante la casa si trovi leggermente fuori rispetto al centro di Kandy (come la maggior parte delle case qui, che si trovano in questa zona residenziale sopraelevata), la vista dal terrazzo ne premia la posizione. Colazione all’aperto con vista colline buonissima. Davvero consigliato

    bell’ appartamento con splendida terrazza situato su una collina di Kandy. Selina è una padrona di casa molto dolce ed accogliente, ha una casa elegante e parla bene inglese. la colazione è ottima. Il valore aggiunto resta in assolutamente il cagnolino Holly, un bellissimo cockerino nero dal manto lucidissimo. ❤️
