The property is really really close to train station, 2-3 minute walk. It is bigger than all other Japan accommodation I’ve been to, newly built so all amenities, equipment and appliances are new. There’s also a comprehensive English version on how to use all equipment so everything was so easy to use. Big bed, lounge, walk in dresser, fridge, microwave, stove and laundry all works well. They even have a documented staff recos on restaurants, etc. Toiletries/towels/detergent are available near lobby if you need more. Everything about this hotel was well thought of and I truly appreciated every detail. 100% highly recommended!

The overall experience from Check in to check out was seamless. You can do it without even speaking to anyone, less the initial check in call. The facilities are new and up to date. The room size is very generous and the quality of finishing were modern. The only thing to note is the relatively small size walk ways and the direction of door opening which would restrict your path. The hotel is placed in a quiet area of Kyoto. It is closed to a metro station and there are a few minimarkets nearby. The staff is nice and helpful (they even book for us a taxi at our departure). The room was large, nicely furbished and have all needed amenities including here also a washing machine.

We liked everything. It is a wonderful place to stay while in Kyoto. I wish all our hotels had been the same while traveling through Japan. They really took every detail into consideration when putting everything together here. The hotel is new construction, but traditional style. Very quiet location despite being so so close to an sim street where you can take many buses to visit different parts of Kyoto. And so close to the touristic part of Gion. We booked the two bedroom apartment, very spacious for what we have seen in Japan. We had a small but perfectly equipped kitchen, a washing/drying machine, with soap and conditioner and clear instructions on how to use it; a fully equipped traditional bathroom (a delight after a full day of sightseeing), an iron and clothes freshener in the cupboard, two big wardrobes, courtesy umbrellas, a Netflix connection, they even gift you some delicious green tea on arrival. We really enjoyed our stay. And the staff is really nice and helpful. Thanks specially to Takase-San, who always took the time to answer all our questions and assisted us on anything we asked for. I definitely recommend this ryokan for your stay in Kyoto. Absolutely worth it.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Coffee at the lobby. Kids cutlery and plates. Available rental bikes and ideal location in Kyoto, near points of interest and metro. That could be due to my apartment being on basement level 1. Either way, I had plenty of natural lighting, really spacious accommodation, friendly staff, and everything felt very comfortable. A great blend of modern and old, all within a five minute walk of anything going on in Kyoto.

There was plenty of space in this beautiful spot - with 3 beds, 2 TVs, a kitchen, bathroom and separate shower. There was even a spa bath! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here in this clean, new, modern apartment. The lady who checked us in (Mika, I think her name was?) was very friendly, polite and spoke excellent English - she was fantastic! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
