We stayed 5 nights at Il Cassero and absolutely loved it. The house in Lucignano is strategically situated between Arezzo, Siena, Florence and Perugia. Gorgeously quirky 16th century mansion with so much old world charm. The best place in town by far. We felt like royalty! Breakfast is included at a choice of three nearby cafés. Each apartment has its own little kitchen. Did I mention the 13th century tower with breathtaking 360º views? The pool is a short drive away and is really beautiful. Overall excellent value for money. Highly recommend. Massimo was a fantastic host.

Communication with Massimo and Bruna prior to our visit was excellent. During our stay, Bruna did an amazing job looking after us. This historic building is unique and it was a pleasure having the opportunity to stay in it. Lucignano is a beautiful town situated in stunning countryside. The position of Residenza d'Epoca Ill Cassero is perfect. I would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

Pool is amazing, and accommodation had everything what was needed (although no aircons in the rooms, those thick stone old walls keep apartments very cool). It's a great home away from home. No wi-fi was just a bonus as kept kids finally engaged in playing with each other. Highly recommended! Thank you Massimo. This stay was a blast.AnnaMalta

Very comfortable and spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Great for either shorter or longer stays. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. It was a pleasure to stay in Lucignolo and I would be happy to go back there in the future!
