The apartment is very nice, cozy and super cute!! They have a washing machine and a dryer machine (super practical with the cold winter awaiting). The owner is super nice and funny, she helped us with all we needed and called when we left something after we left! The position is not that far away from Husavik and Akureyri : everything is by mountains and you can see the northern lights from the bedroom’s windows! The two bedrooms are huge and the kitchen super furnished!

We really liked how the guesthouse was decorated and the beautiful land that it sits upon. Everything was very clean and modern, and we got a fun greeting from a couple of dogs that "herded" us up the stairs. The room was exactly how we imagined it would be.

Quite roomy, like an apartment. Breakfast was excellent and the outdoor hot tub was fun. We needed a break after a horribly icy day on the Ring Road in the Highlands where we didn't have the proper tires to tackle the road, but somehow made it with the help of a local who had a shovel so we could dig out of a snowdrift during this mid-October winter event.margaretYoung couple
