A true hidden gem in Crete. This property is the most privileged and exclusive house in the whole Finix (Phoenix) bay. It is fully equipped with anything anyone might need, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout. Edem house is a newly built comfortable vacation house with a massive front yard overlooking the beach, where one can relax, sunbathe or enjoy their breakfast. We are a family of four and the last time we visited the picturesque and tiny Foinikas bay was in 1995. We consider ourselves really lucky to have found Edem House available and our experience was unforgettable once more.

I loved the location , excellent breakfast included very generous . The sea views …. How kind the staff was . The stairs are not easy if you can get over that !!! What a spectacular view . The room looks soooooo much better than the pictures. We had a renovated room room #9 we loved it . If you are coming from Heraklion you need to take the bus to Vrissis town than you take a bus to Sfakia . Easy …. When you get off the bus you sit at a cafe and they issue you a bus ticket to Sfakia . The bus station in Heraklion explains , online seems so complicated. Than you take a little ferry to Loutro ! Stunning beaches , quiet….. rejuvenating .

The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed, making our stay just like home. The rooms are huge, even the bathroom. Everything was sparkling clean, the view from the apartment (from the bed even!) is amazing, as it is located on the side of a hill and you can see the mountains. The area is very quiet so you can sleep with the windows open and you won't hear a sound. There is a nice sitting area outside where you can eat or just relax and enjoy the view. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will come back for sure here when we are in Crete again! Very good location to do hikes around the White Mountains, Aradena Gorge and many others.

Camerele sunt foarte mari si primitoare, patul foarte comfortabil, se facea curatenie zilnic. Gazdele au fost foarte primitoare cu noi, ne-au asteptat cu inghetata si bere la sosire. Alaturi de locatie este si o mica taverna, nu au foarte multe feluri de mancare dar am mancat bine de fiecare data. Undeva pe scari in jos este si plaja, micuta si linistita unde se gaseste si un bar.

During our journey, we stopped in Sfakia twice. Since we enjoyed our first stay at Lefka Ori, we returned also the second time. Due to the variation of the ferry's schedule, we had to change our plan but the Host was helpful and always managed to meet our needs. Both the hotel room and luxury suits are good but the view of the harbor from the suit's balcony is amazing. The breakfast is healthy, fresh, and tasty. We also had dinner (twice) at the restaurant choosing between food à la carte or the dishes of the day. The staff, kind and smiling, surely helped to make our stay pleasant.

Skafia is a lovely little area near some great hiking (sweet water beach, Aradena gorge, Kakos Poros viewpoint, etc). Faros Apartments are in a great location with a nice sunset view. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. They also own a cafe in town as well as a boat ferry service. The apartment is very clean. The bathroom was large and new.
