I loved the location , excellent breakfast included very generous . The sea views …. How kind the staff was . The stairs are not easy if you can get over that !!! What a spectacular view . The room looks soooooo much better than the pictures. We had a renovated room room #9 we loved it . If you are coming from Heraklion you need to take the bus to Vrissis town than you take a bus to Sfakia . Easy …. When you get off the bus you sit at a cafe and they issue you a bus ticket to Sfakia . The bus station in Heraklion explains , online seems so complicated. Than you take a little ferry to Loutro ! Stunning beaches , quiet….. rejuvenating .

The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed, making our stay just like home. The rooms are huge, even the bathroom. Everything was sparkling clean, the view from the apartment (from the bed even!) is amazing, as it is located on the side of a hill and you can see the mountains. The area is very quiet so you can sleep with the windows open and you won't hear a sound. There is a nice sitting area outside where you can eat or just relax and enjoy the view. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will come back for sure here when we are in Crete again! Very good location to do hikes around the White Mountains, Aradena Gorge and many others.

Skafia is a lovely little area near some great hiking (sweet water beach, Aradena gorge, Kakos Poros viewpoint, etc). Faros Apartments are in a great location with a nice sunset view. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. They also own a cafe in town as well as a boat ferry service. The apartment is very clean. The bathroom was large and new.
