The house was located in a very silent, peaceful, old village. Avgonima (the village) was located on a hill, with a beautiful view. Especially, the sunset was spectacular. The landlady was very friendly and kind. You can watch the sunset from the terrace of the house. The room was exteremely clean

John and Irene looked after us so well!. Stone residence is an old village house in a peaceful village with a shop, some cafes and the most amazing views! It's been beautifully and tastefully renovated with high quality furnishings including a very well stocked kitchen and a superb modern washing machine. The bathroom is great with a good pressure shower with lots of very hot water. The bed is super comfy with nice linens. Irene made sure we had a good stock of food, with bread, eggs, snacks, milk, juice etc for breakfasts and also kindly brought us some home baking. The parking space next door is under a shade which is fantastic. John also speaks fluent English which made communication very easy. We loved staying here and it made a great base for exploring the island of Chios which we also absolutely loved. A perfect stay!
