It was great, right smack in the middle of the beautiful little town. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. We’d originally rented a different place but didn’t find it fit for purpose so this was last minute thing, but found it extremely clean, very freshly furnished, bed was very comfortable, all in all a great space. Host had left a nice welcoming selection of fruit milk, and other niceties. I go around a lot and this was hands down one of the better places. Even proper dense and big bath towels which usually isn’t a thing to expect even in the higher price classes.

Lovely place to stay to relax and unwind. Amazing views even on a rainy day watching the clouds roll in. Cosy, quiet, comfortable and clean. Alice is a super host, friendly, welcoming and makes an amazing homemade loaf.

This is a comfortable and quirky flat in a historic building, right in the middle of Sherborne. There is a good size living room; bedroom with huge, comfy bed; spacious bathroom, all with good views of the town. The flat was very quiet, despite being on the high street and with a café downstairs. The WiFi was excellent. The breakfast items and cake left for us were delicious; there were plenty of toiletries and towels, and the dishwasher was a luxury! The owners are obviously keen to recycle waste too, with facilities provided. Shops, pubs, cafés and supermarkets are even closer than the car park!

We loved the cute and cosy space, with all the amenity we needed for a country break. The decor was crisp, clean and not over powering. The kitchenette and the shower room were fantastic. The bed was super comfortable. The snug is down a quiet lane in beautiful Dorset countryside, we visited the nearby cows, the local castles, the Jurassic coast and splendid Sherborne church. The owners were really friendly and welcoming providing loads of tips and information before we arrived. I loved the breakfast basket, which was a far better option for us than the typical English breakfast in most places, which we’d eat but not enjoy. We had two days of generous and tasty breakfasts, with lots of nice treats and surprises. The rural location made it such a treat and contrast for me, coming from the inner city. We could see the sun rise and set over the horizon. Smug with finding the Snug!
