The location was spot on for touring the Orkneys. The accommodation was well appointed. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was warm and cozy. The Orkney treats left by Victoria were a nice surprise. We loved it all!!

- Very well equipped - everything you might need to cook is available. One of the best I’ve seen in terms of completeness! - Great and spacious bathroom - Convenient location: close to Kirkwall, yet very quiet (detached house, from which you can see the sea). There’s also a deck around the house when the weather is warmer. - VERY accommodating host who goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay - she even bought one kitchen item that we thought could be useful on Easter Sunday (!). Very responsive before, during and after our stay.

We were able to resume our trip with no delays thanks to the Murray Arms crew! Also: Excellent dinners and breakfasts! On our last day we had to leave very early to catch the ferry and, because we couldn't take in breakfast, they packed us a sack lunch!

We were able to park at 5he door. The village has most things you need, for everything else it is close to Kirkwall. we have stayed in many self catering cottage , this one is among the best.

The staff were very welcoming to us and our Labrador which made everything go very smoothly and we had a great stay. would definitely go back! Food in the restaurant was exceptional too.
