The place is gorgeous, very tastefully decorated, super comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, a wonderful experience overall. We spent the last night of our 1 week trip in Scotland here and, after having seen a series of 4-star accommodations in various places in Scotland,, this was by far our favorite. Needless to say the location is perfect, right on the main street of the town, close to every nice restaurant and shop worth visiting. This place really feels like a home away from home and not a hotel, we loved it.

The location is fantastic, a 5-minute stroll to the main thoroughfare and St Andrews Uni campus. The modernity and spaciousness of the flat design. The decoration. The view out of the living room landscape windows. The amenities. The flat is fully furnished with 6 each of red wine glasses, white wine glasses, copitas, cups, mugs, cutlery, pots, pans, toaster, kettle, hairdryer, etc.. Nothing was left wanting. Everything works. And everything looks nearly new. No funky odours at all. Eric, the manager, was warm and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The water pressure is great. The bedlinen and towels are clean. It is far better and lower cost than the very expensive cramped hotel room that my boy stayed at with a view of the road-that's another story. What a deal!

The Bothy is a great place to relax away from a busy city and enjoy the Scottish countryside and Fife. There were a lot of lovely and thoughtful touches inside the property (like hot water bottles, a hammock and chairs, extra throws and blankets as it can get cold in Fife as well as portable lights and torches and even marshmallows to roast on the fire). Although the Bothy was quite small every inch of it was maximised by having a lot of clever storage spaces incorporated into the furniture. You can tell that most things inside the Bothy were bespoke, like the blinds and furniture, and a lot of thought and care was put into choosing them. What was also great was that we were offered the option to purchase a handmade hamper of local goods by the St Andrews Hamper Co that was delivered to the Bothy prior to our arrival. Overall, it was a great place to visit and we’ve had a lovely time there.

L'accoglienza che ci ha riservato il proprietario l'abbiamo molto apprezzata perché è stata molto calorosa e ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. La camera e il bagno erano spaziosi e puliti, quella riservata a noi aveva la portafinestra che dava accesso diretto al giardino. Molto grande, spazioso, arredamento moderno con ampio parcheggio. Dispone di cucina con frigorifero, forno a microonde e lavandino. Bagno grande, moderno, pulito, con anche accappatoio. Letto enorme, king size in larghezza. Wi-Fi veloce. Bollitore con tè e caffè, patatine gratis a disposizione dei clienti.

John offre due camere con bagno privato nella sua casa. Le camere sono pulite, i letti comodi, l'arredamento è tipico di una casa britannica. Puoi usufruire quando vuoi del salotto, colmo di oggetti e ricordi interessanti. Il posto è tranquillo, con un ruscello sul davanti e tanto verde, comodo al centro, il prezzo è competitivo per gli standard di St Andrews.
