I think we were lucky that Beechwood Garden is relatively new, so we were able to book it not so much in advance. Word will spread that it is a really good place to stay - especially considering the value for money. So next time we might not be so lucky.;-) That said: Beechwood Garden is a nice little garden house in the garden of the owner. It has a bus stop basically in front of the garden door where you can catch a bus at least every ten minutes that takes you to the city in approximately twenty to thirty minutes. Previous reviews have called Beechwood Garden compact - and it is that. But in a good way. Lorraine and Colm have managed to make the most out of the space and it lacks for nothing. We found it very cosy and have enjoyed our stay. What I also really liked: The hosts respect your privacy but are also in contact to check if everything is okay and they respond immediately to every question.

There was an unavoidable change of location at the last minute. Communication with Tom was first class. The 2 bedroom house was comfortable and exactly what we required. Tom allowed us to extend for two hours as we arrived very late, which was appreciated.

No breakfast was provided as we did not want it. The property was very clean, very well equipped. The property was very well organised ,and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great 100 yds off the seafront, even better close to the interlinking motorways and even better better very close to a railway station. By the way you did,nt mention that there was a washing machine in your listings. Finally the couple who owned the Apartmentb were very nice.

Ciara is fabulous to deal with, gave us amazing recommendations for dinner and things to do, couldn't have been more helpful and the apartment itself was beautiful and airy, beds comfortable. all over it was absolutely lovely.

The apartment is spacious for a couple and somewhat quaint in its styling (e.g., hardwood floors, dark wood doors, moldings and kitchen cabinets, and furniture), which is something we very much appreciate. It is very well-equipped for a self-catering stay: kitchen appliances, WiFi and both cable and streaming TV channels. The location was perfect for us, away from the crowds of downtown Belfast but close enough to quickly get into the city (15 minute drive, though it could be faster as one of the main roads was closed and the detour was a bit serpentine). The view of Belfast and the harbor from the windows and balcony is fabulous. The host was very responsive with good directions to the apartment and a complimentary breakfast. We had a very enjoyable 1-night stay and highly recommend this apartment.
