The apartment is lovely. It is well equipped and has everything you need for a stay. There is good wifi and access to Netflix which is handy for rainy days.. The setting is fabulous - wonderful views of the mountains and instant access to walks. It's a perfect base for a holiday in the Lake District.

Great location - breathtakingly beautiful surroundings, and perfect spot for exploring the local countryside. Lots of walks and landmarks on the doorstep. Many places to eat and go shopping nearby. Property was warm and cosy. Comfortable bed, very clean, well equipped kitchen. Festive decorations were a lovely bonus! Clare was the perfect host, super welcoming and friendly, couldn't have asked for more! We will be returning for sure.

Hot tub was lovely (some solar lights around the hot tub area could be a nice addition we thought) and the wood burner is a great addition. The logs were topped up on request. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. Great location for the beach, ennerdale and wast water, RavenGlass and for Scarfell pike walks too. Lovely cottage and location.

The house was great for our groups needs. We were a group if mixed ages ranging from 2yrs to 76yrs. All rooms are ensuite rooms which makes for an easy life when you're a large group. Classy decor and fabulous value. Large rooms all very tasteful. The garden and access to the beach was fantastic. Our dogs were able to be off lead in safety. We felt very lucky. Some of us fished, some walked and some of us just simply sat looking out to sea daydreaming. The owners were really helpful. Highly recommended. Plenty of parking too.
