The room was beautiful. Tasteful decor, immaculate, new furnishings and floor coverings and a functional kitchen. The bed was large and comfortable. Another bonus was access to a shared, spotlessly clean laundry. The bathroom was modern, spacious and with opening windows for ventilation. The little touches, nice cookies, a pint of milk, washing powder, detergent and handwash were greatly appreciated. Our apartment was on the ground floor with car spot right out the front on the property. Highly recommend a stay. Location is superb.

THIS is how to do a holiday let! A beautifully furnished and curated apartment that is impeccably clean, has good-quality toiletries and nice coffee and is well located in a very central location in Matlock. Perfect for exploring on foot the town, the heritage railway and the short walk up Pic Tor, or for bus, train and car travel to explore further afield. Would thoroughly recommend this property. I can't explain how perfect it was, from the details to the decor it was amazing. Easy check in and check out, beautiful views. Emily and Rob were amazing and left us an anniversary card (thank you). Emily went to buy us some gifts I asked for and paid for with no hesitation. It was so quite, maybe too quite if your not use to it but it was lovely. It wasn't far from the centre and taxis were available if you didn't want to walk up and down the hill (it nearly killed me walking up it). We even got some free proper milk in the fridge. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you Emily and Rob.

The apartment was lovely. The owners had clearly put a lot of care into providing everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lovely welcome tray with tea, coffee and sugar and biscuits and chocolate, fresh milk/ water in the fridge. We didn't cook but good that they had thought to provide salt, pepper, oil if we had wanted to cook. Good off road parking.

I had a couple of questions and Rachel was always responsive and helpful. The location is very good, its just a five minute walk into the very centre of Matlock.

In de keuken voldoende faciliteiten. De bedden waren goed, het 2 persoonsbed had iets breder gemogen. Het is een mooie uitvalsbasis voor wandel- en autotochten.KarinGroep
