Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Cottage. This is a beautifully presented quirky one bedroom cottage, perfect for the two of us. Upon arrival The Cottage was immaculate & is very well supplied with everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is instant hot water even when heating isn't on, shower has great water pressure too. There is a small private patio area off the kitchen which we didn't use during our stay but in height of summer will be a lovely place to sit. The cottage is alongside the electric railway embankment & viaduct; we believe the cottage was there long before the railway (very slight noise as the train passes, but not intrusive at all). Approx a 10 mins walk to Laxey Beach which when we were there the sun was shining & the bay was a busy & happy place. We used (for the first time) public transport into Douglas, buses were every half hour up until 10pm, then hourly (good app available to check times etc). Short walk up some slightly steep hills onto the main road where there's local shops, pubs the electric railway & where you pick up public transport. Highly recommend & would definitely look at staying here again next time we're on the island.

The Apartment had every amenity you could wish for, a real home from home, loved the welcome tea and coffee set up and the hot water bottles were most welcome. The views from every window were spectacular all furniture, bedding was to a high standard. The jet tub was sheer luxury 😌

Everything about our stay was exceptional. From the moment we met our hosts we were made to feel welcome. The accommodation was spectacular - every detail perfect. The views and position of the property meant that we could experience the beauty and splendor of the Isle of Man. Great location, 10 minutes walk from the city centre, close to the waterfront. There is a small park nearby. Clean, cozy, warm, quiet apartments with everything you need for a comfortable stay. New modern household appliances, a complete set of kitchen utensils, the availability of detergents and etc. There was always hot water. The bed was comfortable, bed linen and towels were clean and new. Communication with the owners left only pleasant impressions. We'll definitely be back here again.
