The host went above, and beyond the call of duty. Not with standing that the apartment was super groovy and beautifully appointed, the guest left me expensive gifts for my 60th birthday, and it was an absolute surprise bonus to be able to meet them on departure. All the little extras were modern and bright to match the light in the rooms. It was beyond our wildest dreams. And lots of little extras in the bathroom. Everything to make your stay incredibly comfortable. All appliances, completely modern, and it was a thrill to have A washing machine. Bottle of champagne in the fridge as well. I felt incredibly affluent

Lovely view out over Lindfield High Street with window baskets overflowing with geraniums in bloom. Comfortable lounge. Continental breakfast left in Fridge was perfect. Comfortable bed. Lovely restaurant downstairs but you need to make a reservation in advance.

We were visiting Wakehurst Gardens for the Christmas lights, it was perfect as a short walk away, but still very private. The cottage is very nicely set out and suited us very well for a couple of nights. It would be even better in summer to enjoy the outdoor space. Host was extremely welcoming and thoughtful. We'll definitely stay here again.
