This is a cute old Scottish house that makes you feel like you're having a traditional highlands experience. The beds were super comfortable. The apartment was warm and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. It was a great value and I would recommend it to anyone.

This enchanting Edwardian country house is home to 5 modern, self-catering apartments, with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Kilchurn suites 1 & 2 are on the top floor of the house, entry to them is through a grand entrance hall with sweeping staircase. Kilchurn Suites 3, 4 & 5 are located in the extension, in the courtyard area of the house. Each suite has their own entrance.

I fell in love with the location when I saw the pictures on Booking and was more than happy to discover than the suite we rented was even better! The location of the Kilchurn suites is really convenient if you want to travel all around Scotland as it is quite central (30 minutes from Oban and located at the crossroads to different major places). The appartment is confortable, very well furnished and with lot of brightness. The kitchen is totally equiped, allowing us to cook and be totally autonomous. There's a big parking space to park in the courtyard. As there are 3 suites in the same buiding, I was afraid it might be noisy but this is not the case; we had a lot of privacy and quietness in our appartement and we didn't realise that we had neighbours. We had a great stay at Kilchurn suites and found very lovely hosts. Paul and Kate are soo nice and helpful that we were sad to leave them after 2 weeks. We expect to return with friends as we still have to discover a lot of things in Scotland and in the area. Thanks to Paul and Kate for their warm welcome!

A truly exceptional location overlooking Loch Awe and the mountains beyond. The self catering accommodation was spacious, warm, and very comfortable, perfectly meeting our needs for a peaceful few days away from it all. Particularly impressive was the upstairs lounge tailor made for comfort and relaxation with great views across the loch. There was a cosy bar and a hearty evening meal available, very welcome after a long journey. The owners Jon and Sarah were most helpful and welcoming.

Quiet and beautiful location on the side of the Loch,.ideally situated for days out to Oban, Inveraray and surrounding area . A misunderstanding re bringing the dogs with us, the staff were extremely helpful and moved us into a more suitable self catering lodge. Everything we needed, it was cosy and comfortable, water was toasty hot.

Friendly welcome, excellent in all respects, environmentally very good, a very good breakfast, lots of ducks. Access to the mountains for walking is easy, we did see several red deer and a red squirrel as well during our very short stay. There is a castle close by .. well worth a visit and a railway station at Dalmally.
