This property was absolutely amazing. The owners are extremely accommodating and offer a wealth of knowledge about the area and all of England in general. When I arrived at the property I was greeted by the owners, they had bread, butter, milk and fresh jam in the fridge waiting. Moat Cottage is located conveniently near both Kettering and Corby and not a far drive from Rushden Lakes making the location perfect for someone who wants to see a bit of everything. The village is charming and the property was everything I hoped for and more.

The rental is on a room only basis. It is a very quiet location and not at all what we had expected being so close to a number of large towns. The facilities were excellent and the property was furnished to a high standard. We appreciated the coffee machine with supplied pods, and the bottle of chilled water in the fridge. It was useful to have a small freezer compartment in the fridge. The owner and his family live next door and did not disturb us although we did ask for some instructions about operating the television set (we do not have a television at home). The selection of books and reading matter was appreciated. It was a very good value stay; finally we liked the late checkout as it meant we could have a lie-in! The bed was very comfortable.
