Great communication with the owner. The whole place was one of the best stays I've ever had. Very clean, spacious and cozy apartment. Perfect for our needs since we needed a place to relax after tiring motorcycle journey. We even had some sweet stuff left for us! Would certainly recommend this!

This is a studio apartment, with microwave and fridge, rather than a traditional B&B. The hosts provided a "starter pack" of milk, coffee/tea and a bottle of wine. The bed was very comfortable, and the location is very quiet and close to the sea and the Coastal Path. I sprained my ankle midway through my stay, and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful - they provided me with food when I couldn't get to the shops and gave me a lift to the bus stop at the end of my stay. Lovely people.

The B & B is right by the sea and the Coastal Path, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to go hiking or want to be in nature, away from big crowds or tourists. The hosts Mike and Carol were lovely! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even helped us change a flat tire and contact the rental car company and made sure the car got fixed.

The Anchorage is one of those very rare places that you know you want to go back to. It's a large old house, solidly built so we weren't disturbed by any noise from neighbouring flats, and in a quiet road. It's owned by a very caring and considerate couple of genuinely nice people who not only met us on arrival but waved us off as we left. Self catering with recommendations for several good places to visit and to eat nearby. Bull Bay is lovely, very friendly, quiet and on the coast path. Parking opposite.
