The location was perfect for accessing the old town of Sarlat as well as the main shopping streets with bars and restaurants. Very handy for the Christmas market and the big general Saturday market. The hosts were communicative and helpful. The apartment had everything to make it comfortable and pleasant. We had a very enjoyable stay.

This apartment is located in a convenient part of the old city. There is free one hour parking close by so you can drop off your luggage. Then, once you’re settled there is a free parking lot close by, but uphill, for you to move and park your car. The inside of the apartment is cozy and comfortable. The bathroom is large and has a washer. We enjoyed our stay at Les Arcades.

The location could not have been better. It was a 3-4 minute walk to two small grocery stores. The area was overflowing with restaurants and shops. The owners had thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. We did a lot of our own cooking to take advantage of the fresh vegetables from the market and the only thing we ever wished for was an oven mitt! And, to top it off, the bed was the most comfortable ever!

Full kitchen diner, good size sitting area, two sufficient sized private terraces (one facing north and one south). Washing machine and an iron. Drying rack. Hanging space. Full length mirror. Bedroom and ensuite were decent size and bed was comfortable. Tv with lots of channels. Air conditioning in both bedroom and living space was welcome as it hit 40 degrees. Well located 5 minutes walk from old city.

The two bedrooms were a good size with room for hanging clothes and large windows that opened onto the street one floor below. The apartment included comfortable chesterfield, soft footstools and coffee tables; kitchen chairs for eating around the counter; good lighting throughout; modern kitchen appliances. The location was close to the centre of town for exploring by walking and within a 30 minutes walk for bike rentals.SandraGroup

The whole place was just perfect for what we wanted: unbeatable location to the old centre (yet so quiet!), loads of character, well equipped, spotlessly clean, flexible space for privacy and being together, and great communication. We had a lovely welcome and Niyada who took great care of us, and we could not have been happier with our accommodation choice to enjoy gorgeous Sarlat.

She spent many many hours during our two day stay helping us with our major problem. The location of the apartment is excellent if you have a car. It is located around the corner from restaurants and a Spar Surpermarket. Sylvie speaks English wish is a real bonus to Canadians and Americans.JoyceSolo traveller
